About This Service

Flooring Is Bought by the Square Foot, on a Tablet, at Night

A homeowner replacing three bedrooms of carpet does not decide in a sitting. They read about LVP wear layers, compare it to engineered hardwood, work out square footage, check whether the basement can take tile, and come back a week later with the measurements. The company whose site answered the per-square-foot question the first time is the one they call for the estimate.

Amrify Pro gives an installer that answer today. An estimate calculator widget takes room size and material and returns a range you configured. Service detail pages hold your material guides. A lead form takes the measurements and four photos of the existing floor. City pages put the showroom in front of every suburb it serves.

The flooring template as a finished layout is not part of the launch set of ten trades. Every Pro owner gets it later as a free update. This page covers what a flooring company can build on the base the day it gets access.

Per-Square-Foot Estimate Calculator

You set the ranges per material; the visitor enters room size and gets a ballpark before submitting. Loads only where placed.

Showroom Page in Plain Text

List the lines you stock, hours, and a 'book a visit' link to the request form. Photos are optimized at build time.

Financing Page You Maintain

Lay out your lender's terms and a monthly example beside the total. Edit one file when the promotion changes.

Lighthouse 100 Gate

Static HTML with no framework on the page. CI fails any build where a Lighthouse category drops under 100, gallery pages included.

Material-in-City Pages

'LVP installation in Bloomington' as a real page, generated from Census place names and blocked by the build if it is thin.

Request Form With Floor Photos

Square footage, rooms, material and up to four resized photos reach you three ways: email, a Telegram or SMS ping, and a database record.

A Guide Page Per Material, Priced by You

Hardwood, engineered, LVP, porcelain, ceramic, carpet, laminate, refinishing: each is a service detail page in plain text with your installed cost per square foot, wear and moisture notes, and which rooms it suits. The build generates Service schema, breadcrumbs, and the sitemap entry from the same file. Google indexes hardwood and LVP as different pages because they are.

The Range Before the Phone Call

The estimate calculator sits on any material page. A homeowner enters 640 square feet of LVP and sees the range you set for it, then submits the full request with photos of the room. That request reaches your inbox, your phone, and a database at once. Fewer 'just curious' calls, more measured-up leads.

The Range Before the Phone Call

Showroom and Financing Without a Plugin

The showroom page lists your product lines and hours with build-optimized photos and a link to book a visit through the request form. The financing page states your partner's terms and a monthly example. Both are text files; neither needs a developer to update when a line changes or a promotion ends.

Flooring has the longest research phase of any home improvement purchase under $20,000. The product is permanent, the price is set per square foot, and the material choice changes the number by a factor of three. Buyers know all of this, so they read. A company whose site gives them numbers to read wins the estimate request from the company whose site says “we install all types of flooring” above a contact form.

Start With the Calculator

The single most useful thing a flooring site can do is answer “roughly what will this cost” before the homeowner has to call. Amrify Pro ships an estimate calculator as one of its five conversion widgets. You configure the per-square-foot range for each material you install, installed or material-only as you prefer. A visitor picks LVP, enters 640 square feet, and sees the range. The widget is a small SolidJS island, so it loads only on the pages where you place it, and the rest of the page remains static HTML.

Below the range sits the request form. It captures rooms, square footage, material preference, and up to four photos of the existing floor, resized in the browser before upload so a tablet photo goes through quickly. You get the request by email and as a Telegram or SMS ping; DynamoDB keeps the record; a webhook can pass it to a scheduling tool that accepts one. Spam defenses are on from the start, and Turnstile is a switch.

Material Guides as Pages, Not Paragraphs

The base build’s services section is a detail page per service, written in plain text. For a flooring company, that becomes a page per material: solid hardwood, engineered hardwood, luxury vinyl plank, porcelain tile, ceramic tile, carpet, laminate, and refinishing. Each carries your installed cost per square foot, a wear and moisture note, which rooms it suits, and how long installation usually takes. Service schema and breadcrumbs are generated from the same file.

Cross-material comparisons (“Hardwood vs LVP for a house with two dogs”) belong in the blog, which comes with tags, author pages, an RSS feed and Article schema already wired. A comparison post that links to both material pages and the calculator is how research-phase traffic becomes a measured-up request.

Showroom and Financing

Neither of these is a component in the base build, and this page will not pretend otherwise. Both are pages you write.

A showroom page lists the lines you stock (Shaw, Mohawk, Armstrong, Mannington, or whichever you carry), your hours, and photos that the build optimizes and resizes. A “book a showroom visit” link points at the request form. A homeowner who has already browsed your inventory arrives knowing what to touch.

A financing page states your lending partner’s terms and shows a monthly example next to the project total, which is what turns “$15,000” into a number a household can discuss. Change the promotion and you edit one file.

City Pages That Have to Earn Their URL

A showroom in Minneapolis sells to Saint Paul, Bloomington, Eagan, and fifteen more suburbs. Feed that list to the Pro local SEO engine and each suburb gets a service-area page, and each material gets a page inside each suburb (“LVP installation in Eagan”); Census place names scaffold the list so you are not typing towns by hand. Any page too thin to deserve its URL fails the build, and a content audit flags near-duplicates before deploy. Twenty suburbs become twenty real pages, or the build tells you which ones need work.

Everything Else Underneath

Ten trades have templates at launch: roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, cleaning, pressure washing, pest control, garage door and painting. Flooring is not in it. Every Pro owner gets the flooring template later, free, and no date is attached. The base under those ten templates is what a flooring company uses now:

  • A complete site: home, services with detail pages, about, blog with tags, contact, thank-you, privacy, 404
  • The five widgets: estimate calculator, quote wizard, reviews carousel, before/after gallery (finished-floor pairs), sticky call bar
  • JSON-LD for Organization, WebSite, Service, Article, FAQPage, and BreadcrumbList
  • A generated favicon, an Open Graph image per page, plus sitemap, robots.txt, RSS, llms.txt and web manifest
  • Optional switches for GA4, GTM and Clarity, and six switches for the design
  • Fleet tooling: a new-site scaffolder, a cross-site verifier, AWS S3 and CloudFront deploy, a leads CLI
  • Four Claude Code skills, a CLAUDE.md and AGENTS.md, and seventeen docs
  • Astro 7 with Tailwind CSS 4 and TypeScript, under a CI gate holding all four Lighthouse scores at 100

Setup, In Order

  1. Hold the price. Checkout is not open. A free account reserves a founding spot at $249; after the first 5,000 members the price is $399, enforced at checkout. The private GitHub repo appears in your account dashboard at release. One seat, one person.
  2. Enter the company. Config takes the name, phone, showroom address, and hours. Write a material page per product type with your per-square-foot numbers. Configure the calculator’s per-material ranges. Write the showroom and financing pages. Add your suburbs; the scaffolder fills in Census names. Upload finished-floor photos to the before/after gallery. The four Claude Code skills in the repo turn “add a porcelain tile page at $9-14 installed” into a sentence; Cursor and Copilot read the same CLAUDE.md.
  3. Deploy. Commit to GitHub, then let Netlify, Vercel or Cloudflare Pages build from the repo. The lead API lives in your own AWS account. Point Telegram or SMS at the estimator’s phone.

Once live, the free Website Monitor on your account is where the site goes next. It holds a watch list of up to thirty sites, re-runs Google’s test on demand, and keeps the last ten results per site with score history. It does not run on a schedule and sends no alerts; it is where you confirm a new gallery upload did not cost the site its score.

Which Flooring Businesses This Fits

An installer competing with the big-box add-on service. Home Depot and Lowe’s sell installation as an afterthought. A site with priced material pages, a calculator, and finished-floor pairs positions you as the company that does flooring all day. One payment, no monthly fee, and nothing about it looks like a big-box page.

A showroom that needs an online front door. Hundreds of samples on the wall are invisible to a homeowner on a tablet at 10 pm. The showroom page, material guides, and a “book a visit” request form bring the first browse online so the in-person visit starts halfway through the decision.

Two or more showrooms with different inventory. Give each showroom a site of its own inside the monorepo, with separate product lines, financing offer and city list, all on the shared codebase. A material guide you improve once deploys to every location. No per-site fee.

Alex Crabinsky, a full-stack developer with over ten years in production sites, built the codebase in Alpharetta, Georgia. Amrify’s own live sites, in roofing, TV mounting, glass and exterior cleaning, run on it. They are public; grade one. More about the developer.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can a homeowner get a square-footage estimate on the site?

Yes. The estimate calculator is one of the five conversion widgets in Pro. You set the per-square-foot ranges for each material you install, the visitor enters room size and material, and the widget shows a range before they submit the full request. It is a SolidJS island, so it loads only on the pages where you place it and the rest of the site stays plain HTML.

Is the flooring template available now?

Not as a dedicated layout. At launch, Pro carries templates for ten trades (roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, cleaning, painting, garage door, pressure washing, pest control); flooring comes to every owner afterward as a free update, without a promised date. What you can use immediately is the base build those templates sit on: a detail page per material, the estimate calculator, the lead engine, the before/after gallery and the generator that produces city pages.

How do I publish material comparison guides?

As content you write. Each material (hardwood, engineered hardwood, LVP, porcelain and ceramic tile, carpet, laminate) can be a service detail page with your per-square-foot pricing, wear and moisture notes, and room suitability, and a ‘hardwood vs LVP’ comparison can be a blog post with Article schema. Nothing about the base build is flooring-specific yet; the structure for long-form, well-linked pages is.

What about the showroom and financing?

Both are pages you write in plain text. A showroom page can list the lines you stock (Shaw, Mohawk, Armstrong, or whichever you carry), hours, and a link to the request form for booking a visit. A financing page can lay out your partner’s terms and a monthly example. The base build optimizes the photos at build time; there is no virtual tour component.

How much does Amrify Pro cost for a flooring company?

A single payment of $249 for the first 5,000 founding members, then $399. That one payment buys the lead engine, the local SEO engine, the widgets, as many sites as you care to run, and every future update, the flooring template among them. Hosting the static site on Netlify, Vercel, or Cloudflare Pages is free. Compare that with $3,000-9,000 for a custom flooring site or $1,200-4,000 over three years for WordPress with hosting and plugins.

Will it rank in the suburbs around my showroom?

For each town you install in, the local SEO engine writes a service-area page, and under it one page per material for that town, with the town list scaffolded from Census place names so it starts from real places. Thin pages are refused at build time, which is the difference between ‘LVP installation in Eagan’ as a page with substance and a doorway page that Google discounts.

How do estimate requests reach me?

Through the Pro lead engine, which is a serverless API and not a form plugin. When a homeowner submits material preference, rooms, square footage and up to four photos of the existing floor, you get an email and a Telegram or SMS notification, the database keeps a copy, and a webhook can hand the request to your scheduling tool if it accepts one. Spam filtering is on by default and Turnstile is an option.

How long does setup take?

The material pages and showroom inventory are the bulk of the writing. With your price list and product lines ready, count on six to eight hours for a first version: clone the private repo, fill in config, write the material and service pages, configure the calculator ranges, add cities, upload photos, deploy. Hosting takes about thirty minutes of that.

Two showrooms with different product lines. One purchase?

Yes. One seat covers unlimited production sites, and the monorepo lets each showroom run its own site with its own inventory, financing offer, and city list while sharing the codebase. A material guide you improve once ships to both on the next build.
